1. About these terms

These terms cover your use of PDF Bus (“the service”). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What the service does

PDF Bus provides tools for working with PDF documents — splitting, merging, rotating, stamping and creating PDFs from images. We may add, change or withdraw features at any time, and the way a feature works may change as the service develops.

3. Do not use the service for sensitive information

Please do not use the service to process confidential, sensitive or regulated material. That includes, but is not limited to, financial records, government identity documents, health or medical records, legal or contractual material under a duty of confidence, credentials, and personal data belonging to other people.

The service is intended for ordinary, everyday documents. If a document would cause harm, loss or a legal problem were it exposed, altered or lost, do not put it through the service. You are responsible for deciding whether a given document is appropriate to process here.

4. Accounts

An account is not required to use the tools. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity carried out under it. Please give accurate details and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• process material you have no right to process;
• infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
• break any applicable law; or
• disrupt or attempt to disrupt the service or other people’s use of it.

6. Results are not guaranteed

We do not guarantee that the output of any tool will be correct, complete, or fit for your purpose. Document processing is complex: results may vary between files, some documents may not process at all, and formatting, fonts, images or layout may not be preserved exactly as you expect. The result may simply not be satisfactory.

Always keep your own copy of the original file, and check the output before you rely on it. Do not use the service where an imperfect or failed result would cause you loss.

7. Use at your own risk

You use the service entirely at your own risk. It is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

8. Our commitment

We take reasonable care to protect the information handled by the service and to make each feature work as well as we can. We cannot, however, promise a particular level of security or performance, and nothing in this section creates a guarantee or warranty. No online service can be made completely secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for any loss or corruption of data or documents, or loss of profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the service — including where the output is inaccurate, incomplete or unsatisfactory.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Intellectual property

You keep all rights in the documents you process; we claim no ownership of them. The service’s own name, design and code remain ours.

11. Changes

We may update the service or these terms. When we change the terms we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
